World’s largest full-scale proving test of anchors

For the Hazelmere Dam Strengthening project in South Africa, BBR Network Member SRG Limited carried out the largest full-scale proving test of anchors ever undertaken in the world. It is also the first time that massive 91-strand anchors have been used outside of Australia. This project not only shows the capability of the BBR Network, but also demonstrates how the very latest technology and techniques are shared around the globe.
