CONNAECT 2012 Best Photography Awards

Winner Vorspann-Technik GmbH (Austria)

This award was for two different projects, the Sava Bridge in Belgrade (Serbia) and the Sugar Silo in Tullin (Austria).

The dramatic photos of Sava Bridge showed the BBR technology in its construction and the elegance of such a project. The judges particularly liked the action shots showing people working more ‘hands on’ with BBR technology.

The drama of the huge sugar storage silo was conveyed very well and the images were all of the right quality.

Runner up BBR PTE (Romania)

The second place award was for photos supplied showing the Basarab Flyover Bypass in Bucharest (Romania). This was a very difficult project to illustrate because of its scale and urban location – the selection of photographs supplied gave a good sense of both aspects.
